Saving our Children from Prohibition - The four boys who didn't come home

Small town boys get life for growing cannabis!

As a parent you don't quit loving your kids because they grew older, you do not quit loving your kids for getting in some trouble. Smart parents teach their children with truth and rewards even so there are times when a punishment is a must. A proper punishment can be a teaching tool, used wrongly punishment can be the cause of disaster, our Government is using the wrong punishments with prohibition.

In the late 1990's Washington State outlawed the hunting with hounds, most people went on with their lives and the change of the law affected only a very small portion of the population. Those that had grown up hunting with dogs, or hounds.

In one small town nestled right up to the North Cascades Mountains many of the local families were gravely upset at the lose of one of their favorite sports and a long standing family and community tradition.

Several of the families got together discussed the problem and made a plan to keep the tradition of hound hunting by investing in land in another state. Montana became the choice and land was bought an adventure had begun.

Now four of the boys decided to spend the summer in Montana learning their new hunting grounds. The four young men found employment as shepherds for a local sheep farmer.

The boys were excited their job put them outdoors and in the hills they needed to learn for their families hunt the coming fall. The family back home was ecstatic with the news of plenty of game and many game trails having been located.

Well good old country boys like to smoke some herb and enjoy life. They got a bag of some seedy weed and of course they knew how to plant a garden. They took the seeds out to the hills and planted what they had, lots of seeds.

One day while watering, tending and admiring their cannabis garden the local law enforcement popped out of nowhere. Three of the young men were apprehended at the garden site.

The fourth made a run  for it and made his way home to tell his story. He had warrants for his arrest and was fighting it as there was no proof he had took part in the cannabis garden project.

The three that were caught on site ended up with a mandatory minimum life sentence.

This is how our Government has dealt with some good old country folks kids who poked some herb seeds into the ground.

The families and the whole community were devastated, it hurts just to remember those kids!

It is time to be,
Saving our Children from Prohibition!

"Prohibition... goes beyond the bound of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded"
-Abraham Lincoln
