Seattle Cannabis Legalization Protest March 4th, Support the Seattle Times!

Note this blog is not a part of or affiliated with The Seattle Times

Rumor has it there will be a protest to defend the Seattle Times right to free press and to show support for the pro cannabis legalization stance they are undertaking. At this point it would seem that the protest will be at  1120 John Street, I hope that we will be hearing more details soon.

Any organizers with more info please leave me a comment here or a Reddit.

Immediately after the Seattle Times ran an editorial last week supporting marijuana legalization, the newspaper got a telephone call from Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske in Washington, D.C., Seattle alternative weekly The Stranger reports.

Kerlikowske, who heads up the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), wanted to fly to Seattle to "talk personally" to the paper's full editorial board, reports Dominic Holden at The Stranger.
The meeting between the Drug Czar and the Seattle Times' editorial board is scheduled for next Friday, March 4.

Intelligent opinions and structured debate are always welcomed, but name calling and personal attacks do not belong here, have fun!
